The September MHK surgery with the Commissioners will be held this Saturday 7th September @ 11am at Peel Town Hall (note this is a change from 14th September).

Credit Unions Deferred Shares Approved
Tynwald approved in July, Credit Unions to be able to issue deferred shares. This technical change allows investment in the Manx Credit Union. Deferred shares will assist credit unions by enabling them to maintain higher levels of capital and will offer their members an additional type of savings product.

Liverpool Ferry Terminal Approved By Tynwald
Work can now begin on the new Isle of Man ferry terminal in Liverpool after Tynwald approved the financial motion today.
This means the ferry terminal is due to be in operation from March 2021.

Heritage Trail Order Approved
In June Tynwald approved the Heritage Trail order which will allow improvements to be made to the trail between Douglas and Peel, so it can be enjoyed by all.

Minimum Wage Increases this October
In June, Tynwald unanimously resolved to increase the Minimum Wage to the following rates, which will become effective on 1 October 2019:
