Credit Union Amendment Bill Becomes Law

Tynwald approved secondary legislation so that the Bill’s Day Order becomes effective from 1st April 2019.

Following consultation, flexibility has also been provided for interest rates so that the Credit Union can cover costs on small loans.

This is great news and brings to fruition the motion I brought to Tynwald in January 2016.
