It has been an honour to be part of the celebrations for 150th anniversary of the first House of Keys democratic election. As well as a special House of Keys sitting in Castletown, sets of coins and stamps have been distributed across the island to all school children.

The week was also a milestone for the Peel Charity Shop on Friday who passed a million mark in money raised for charity.

The previous week included meeting a number of MPs in Westminister, building relationships during the historic Brexit week when Article 50 was triggered.

Community Regeneration Workshop

Thank you to all the teams from DOI , MUA, DEFA and Emergency Services for your outstanding efforts overcoming the huge and diverse problems caused by Storm Doris. It was a great cross Government effort to clear roads, particularly to the South, from dozens of trees and restore power lines.

Programme For Government

It incorporates an ambitious infrastructure programme. Of interest for the West, this confirms a commitment to complete the regional sewerage infrastructure by the end of this administration.
