Thank you to everyone helping through this emergency
Thursday’s #ClapfortheNHS campaign made its way to our shores, with people across the Island standing on their doorsteps to clap and cheer the work of our health and social care professionals.
It was a moving moment of community solidarity across the Isle of Man and shows the deep and heartfelt appreciation we have of for those working to preserve life in these turbulent times.
We also want to thank those keeping the lights on and providing heating, those maintaining our schools for key workers, farmers, ports staff, bus drivers and key infrastructure personnel, those working from home, keeping our shops going, helping others, and to everyone self isolating. The community has never been stronger; this will get us through these difficult times.
Please note medical calls, regarding symptoms, testing or self-isolation should be made to 111
More information on the current guidelines and updates can be found at https://covid19.gov.im
Due to the current restrictions there will be no MHK commissioner surgery next month, but we are both available by phone or email.
Best wishes
Ray
